VE Testing Session

Location
This location does not have a dedicated parking area. A parking space nearby to this facility is available free of charge to applicants on a first come, first served basis. Information on this parking area will be provided to applicants in an email they will receive after they complete the pre-registration form for this session. Otherwise, street parking may be available. There are also a number of parking garages in downtown Lafayette.
Please contact the VE team in advance of your session if you need special accommodations, such as handicap access.
Registration
Pre-registration is required to test at this session. The Tippecanoe County VE Team requires applicants to acquire an FCC Registration Number (FRN) prior to the test session. For more information on how to acquire an FRN, click here.

Due to facility limitations, this session is capped at 20 applicants.
What to bring
Make sure to bring the following items to the session:
Government issued photo ID (e.g. driver's license, passport, military ID)
For youth:
Non-government issued photo ID (e.g. student ID)
Non-photo ID (e.g., School ID, library card, report card, etc.)
If requesting a name change, bring proof of the name change
If using credit from a CSCE from another examination session, bring the original and a copy of a CSCE
Applicants will be provided:
A pencil
A pen
Scratch paper
A calculator
If an applicant wishes to bring a programmable calculator, they must be able to demonstrate to the VE team that any memories have been cleared
Cell phones cannot be used as calculators
